This morning we woke up to snow (in Vegas)! Woo-hoo! Now it feels like Christmas!

Tonight we went to our Ward Christmas party, we had a lot of fun listening to music, eating yummy treats and visiting with friends. Heidi also got to meet Santa and asked him for some new XBox games for her daddy!

Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we were able to celebrate Thanksgiving twice. For our first Thanksgiving we went up to Taylor's parents house a week early so Taylor and his brother could go to a Pink Floyd concert. Our second Thanksgiving we spent with my uncles family and Taylor's uncles family. It was so fun to have Taylor home with Heidi and me for five days, it was very relaxing, and I was sad to see him go back to work. Heidi also got to go on her first plane ride.

Crossing Over to "The Dark Side"

I decided that I needed a hair change, so I decided to go dark, something I have never done before. I love the color. I was shocked when I saw it, and I still take a double take when I look in the mirror. Taylor was shocked too! He was so cute Saturday afternoon - I would just catch him smiling at me, as he was looking at my hair. I am sure in the next year I will go back lighter, but for now its a fun change.

Birthday Present

Yesterday was my birthday, and Heidi gave me a sweet present - she learned how to roll over. It's so cute to watch her do it. It still shocks her when she lands on her back.

Taylor gave me a new black dress, the WoW expansion pack, and a new playstaion game called Little Big Plant. Last night, we went to Red Rock casino and ate at a new mexican resturant, and Taylor also made me pinapple cake. It was a great day!

Family Photoshoot

During Heidi's blessing weekend we also took some family photos with my family -













PS - I grew up in the Philadelphia area going to Phillies games with my dad - hence the Phillies shirts! (The won the world series!)

Heidi's Baby Blessing

Heidi got blessed on Sunday November 2nd. It was so fun to have everyone in town for her blessing. Taylor did such a wonderful job blessing her!

I have a great Aunt back in Philadelphia who sent Heidi an antique doll high chair, and an antique doll. Taylor figured we had to try Heidi out in the doll high chair since she is still small enough. Heidi didn't much care for it...

It went from "okay", to "oh no she is going to cry", to "ah - poor Heidi", to "Taylor- get her out of there right now!"

Heidi's Tongue

Last week Taylor tried taking Heidi's picture for her baby announcements. This same day Heidi learned about her tongue. She stuck her tongue out in almost every picture. We will have to try again!

Here is one of the few shoots we got without the tongue! Its so fun to watch her grow and discover new things. She is growing so fast and getting bigger. Last week at her one month check up she has already gained two pounds since birth. (good little eater!)

Thank You Grandma
